FrogPedals is a small effects and tube-preamp builder run by Mark Price out of Sibley, Missouri. FrogPedals is a small effects and tube-preamp builder run by Mark Price out of Sibley, Missouri. The operation grew out of a DIY project: in 2015, Price set out to build his own version of the Alembic F2b preamp and, after several PCB revisions, released the Frog Tube Preamp 2.0 board for other hobbyists to assemble. By early 2017 he was selling fully built units under the FrogPedals name.

The brand's flagship is the Frog Fx1, a single-channel Class A vacuum tube preamp inspired by the Alembic F2b and the Fender Dual Showman preamp section, built into a pedalboard-friendly enclosure that runs off a 9VDC supply while internally generating the ~200V plate voltage. It includes bass, mid, and treble EQ and is marketed as full-range for both guitar and bass. Alongside the preamps, FrogPedals offers overdrive and other effects such as the BluesMaster and VS10 Valve Screamer, plus DIY PCBs, wires, and cables for builders.

The shop occupies a niche corner of the boutique market, with a community of hobbyist builders and a few hundred Frog-style preamps in circulation worldwide. Its tagline, "Cuz they's made for Giggin'," reflects the workmanlike, gig-rig orientation of the brand rather than a polished hi-fi pitch.

FrogPedals has 1 product cataloged on Equipboard, including Bass Preamps.
