Gecko Pedals is a hand-built guitar effects company based in Eugene, Oregon. The company traces its origin to a 2007 conversation between two bandmates — a guitarist who loved his vintage Maestro Echoplex tape delay, and a percussionist with an engineering background who proposed building a pedalboard-friendly replacement. That premise eventually became the brand's first product, the Geckoplex EP-5, a digital delay designed to emulate the feel and behavior of a tape echo while remaining road-worthy.

The lineup centers on the Geckoplex EP-5 (now offered in a V2 revision) and the O-Face, an analog overdrive whose gain, tone, and volume parameters are modulated optically to produce tremolo-style movement across the signal.
