Generation Music is a British folk instrument manufacturer based in Oswestry, Shropshire, on the English-Welsh border. The company was founded in 1966 by engineer and businessman Alfred Brown, who relocated a small instrument-making operation from London to the region, and it remains family-run into its third generation under David, Peter, and Robert Brown. Early output included recorders, swanee-whistles, and tambourines before the business settled into the tin whistle and folk-flute niche for which it became known.

The brand is most closely associated with the Generation tin whistle, a traditional cylindrical brass-tube design in plain and nickel-plated finishes that is a staple of Irish and Celtic folk music and widely used by both beginners and professional players. Its catalogue also includes the Generation Flageolet, first produced in 1968 and offered in brass, nickel, and Aurora variants, along with Metal Sub-Kazoos and the Miller Browne range of marching flutes.

Manufacturing takes place in England, and the company positions itself around affordable, traditionally constructed instruments made on the British side of the folk instrument trade. The 2016 anniversary marked fifty years of operation in Shropshire.
