GlitchScaper is a rhythm and glitch machine developed by Igor Vasiliev, released as a universal app for iOS and macOS through the Motion Soundscape label. The app is built around six sound generators, each driven by a two-layer cycle sequencer, with tone generators offering twelve complex waveforms and noise sources alongside envelope-modulated effects, spatial processing, reverb, a harmonic exciter, and a bass enhancer.

The workflow centers on quickly drafting patterns through guided randomization and then tweaking parameters to shape the result, making it suited to glitchy beats, broken rhythms, and longer-stepped digital textures intended to sit alongside classic drum machines and sequencers. External audio can be routed into the tone generators as a signal source.

GlitchScaper runs standalone on iPhone and iPad and as an AUv3 plug-in on macOS in hosts such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro, GarageBand, MainStage, Reaper, and Plogue Bidule. It also supports Audiobus, Inter-App Audio, and Ableton Link. It sits alongside other experimental Vasiliev apps including SoundScaper and FieldScaper.
