GMS Drum Co. is a custom drum manufacturer founded in 1987 by Rob Mazzella and Tony Gallino on Long Island, New York. The company emerged from Gallino's tinkering with production drums—truing shells, recutting bearing edges, and fabricating better hardware—paired with Mazzella's machining background, which let the duo produce their own lugs, throw-offs, and mounts in-house. After debuting at the 1988 NAMM Show, GMS established itself as one of the original American boutique drum makers.

The company is known for its handcrafted maple shells, precision 45-degree bearing edges, and lacquer finishes. Core product lines include the Grand Master (GM) series, the CL series, and the SE (Special Edition) series, alongside a range of snare drums. CL series production was moved to a small family-run shop in Taiwan in 2004, while the higher-end lines continue to be built at the New York workshop. GMS drums have been used by professional drummers including Eric Kretz of Stone Temple Pilots.

GMS has 3 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Drum Sets, Modular Synthesizers, and Drums. Their gear is featured by 2 artists, with the strongest followings in Rock. Notable users include Eric Kretz and Jizmak Da Gusha (Brad Roberts).
