Grafton Electronics is a small US-based effects pedal maker founded by Chuck Wojack and based in Grafton, Vermont. Operating under license from Dan Armstrong Enterprises, the company reissues the line of Armstrong Sound Modifiers originally designed by Dan Armstrong in the mid-1970s, which had been out of production for more than two decades before Grafton began hand-building them in the United States.

The reissue line covers the six classic Dan Armstrong modules: the Orange Squeezer compressor, Green Ringer ring modulator, Blue Clipper fuzz, Red Ranger booster/tone modifier, Purple Peaker equalizer, and Yellow Humper equalizer. The units are built to the original 1975 specifications with updated components, housed in the same compact plug-in enclosure format as the vintage originals, and marketed primarily through the Dan Armstrong Effects brand.

The original Armstrong Sound Modifiers — particularly the Orange Squeezer and Green Ringer — have long been associated with players such as Mark Knopfler, Ry Cooder, David Lindley, and Elliot Randall, and the circuits remain among the most widely cloned in boutique pedal building.
