Granelli Audio Labs is a Baltimore, Maryland-based microphone modification company founded in 2009 by recording engineers John Grant of Secret Sound Studio and Tony Correlli of The Deep End Studio. The company grew out of a late-night studio experiment in which the two engineers fashioned a PVC plumbing-elbow adapter to angle a Shure SM57 by 90 degrees, making it easier to position around crowded drum kits.
