Häussel Pickups is a German pickup manufacturer based in Burladingen, founded by Harry Häussel. Häussel began building custom acoustic guitars around 1980, and after years of repairing pickups for customers, started winding his own in 1986. The acquisition of a CNC machine in 1989 allowed the small workshop to scale into precision serial production while keeping its custom-shop character.
