Henri Selmer Paris is a French manufacturer of professional woodwind and brass instruments based in Mantes-la-Ville, near Paris. The company was founded in 1885 by clarinettist Henri Selmer, a graduate of the Paris Conservatoire who initially produced reeds and mouthpieces before opening a Paris store and repair shop in 1898 and beginning clarinet production. Selmer clarinets won a gold medal at the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition in Saint Louis, helping to establish the firm's international reputation.

The brand is most closely associated with the saxophone, which it began producing in 1922 with the Series 22. In 1929, Selmer acquired the Adolphe Sax workshops in Montmartre, positioning itself as the direct successor to the saxophone's inventor. Subsequent saxophone models — including the Balanced Action, Mark VI, Mark VII, Series II, Series III, Reference 54, Reference 36, and Supreme — became reference instruments for jazz and classical players worldwide. The factory produces sopranino, soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, and bass saxophones alongside its clarinet line.

In addition to saxophones, Henri Selmer Paris manufactures a full range of professional clarinets (such as the Recital, Privilege, Signature, Présence, and Muse models) and mouthpieces. The company is distinct from the U.S.-based Conn-Selmer, though the two share historical ties through licensing agreements established in the 20th century.
