Hi-Tone Amplification is a Columbus, Indiana–based amplifier builder dedicated to continuing the work of the late Dave Reeves, founder of the original Hiwatt amplifier company. Conceived in 2006 after founders Clayton Callaway, Mark Huss, and Glynn Reeves (Dave Reeves' son) met at the first Vintage Hiwatt Convention, the company positions itself as the only amplifier maker endorsed by the Reeves family, using Dave Reeves' circuitry approaches and 'Mil-Spec' wiring techniques.

The lineup covers 18-watt LOWATT, 50, 100, and 200-watt builds assembled in the USA. Models include the DR Series (voiced after '71–'75 era Hiwatts), the DG Series with internally linked input jacks, the JP Series based on a late-'60s/early-'70s Jimmy Page–style amp, the CP Series modeled on Pete Townshend's CP103, Lead models with higher gain, and the 200-watt SAP. The company also produces DR-F speaker cabinets loaded with Fane-style speakers built by Eminence.

Hi-Tone has a following among players chasing classic British high-headroom clean and edge-of-breakup tones associated with the original Hiwatt sound. Artists associated with the brand include J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr., Dave Minehan of The Replacements, and Keith Nelson of Buckcherry.

Hi-Tone Amplification has 5 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Guitar Amplifier Heads and Guitar Amplifier Cabinets. Their gear is featured by 3 artists, with the strongest followings in Rock, Metal, and Pop. Notable users include Lee Harris, Mike Scheidt, and Jon Howell.
