ILIO is a Southern California–based company founded in 1994 by Mark Hiskey and his wife Shelly. It began by licensing the signature sound library of the Synclavier and repackaging it for Akai, Roland, and Kurzweil samplers, and grew into one of the longest-running independent developers of sample libraries, drum loops, and patch collections for professional music production.

ILIO's catalog skews toward deep-sampled orchestral, cinematic, and synthesis tools aimed at composers, producers, and sound designers, rather than hardware instruments or effects. The company is known within the music-production community more for curation and long-term partnerships with boutique developers than for any single flagship product of its own.
