Inphonik is an independent audio software developer based in France, with team members in Paris and Strasbourg. Founded by software developer and music educator Mathieu Demange and graphic designer William Lamy (known in the demoscene as "Willbe"), the duo began collaborating in 2016 and formally established the company in 2019. Their focus is on emulating the signature retro digital sound of legendary 1990s samplers and synthesizers in plug-in form.

The company's catalog centers on cycle-accurate recreations of vintage hardware. The RYM2612 Iconic FM Synthesizer emulates the Yamaha YM2612 sound chip found in the Sega Genesis, while the RX950 Classic AD/DA Converter models the 12-bit character of the Akai S950.
