Intuitive Instruments is a French instrument maker based at the Parc de la Villette in Paris, formerly known as Dualo. The company grew out of a harmonic layout invented in 2007 by mathematician Jules Hotrique, who built an early controller prototype around a hexagonal note arrangement designed to make chord voicings and scale relationships fall naturally under the fingers.

The company's earlier product, the dualo du-touch S, was an all-in-one instrument with backlit keys, an internal sound bank, and a looper. That concept was later split into a controller and a companion app and rebranded as the Exquis, an MPE-capable MIDI controller with a backlit hexagonal keypad.
