JackSavior is a Dutch audio accessories company founded in 2013 by Bouwy van Sambeek, a mechanical engineer based in Delft, The Netherlands. The company developed and patented a novel audio jack plug design in which the wires connect inside the plug rather than outside, resulting in a connector that is significantly smaller, more flexible, and more durable than conventional designs. JackSavior holds patents in six countries and the EU.
The company's product line includes the Black Edition, a 10-foot braided instrument cable with 1/4-inch black-nickel-plated plugs; the Adapter 2, a 3.5mm male-to-female adapter that reinforces standard headphone jacks; and The First, a pair of stereo earphones built around the JackSavior plug design. JackSavior also completed a collaboration with Eastman Strings, producing a lightweight connector cable with a 3.5mm cornered mono connector and a 1/4-inch mono jack for acoustic violin applications.
Incubated at YES!Delft, JackSavior launched its products through multiple Kickstarter and Indiegogo campaigns and also licenses its patented plug technology to other audio manufacturers.
