Jacobacci was a French guitar workshop founded in 1924 by Italian immigrant Vincent Jacobacci in the Ménilmontant district of Paris. The shop began by producing banjos, mandolins, and acoustic guitars, including Selmer-style instruments. In the 1950s, Vincent's sons Roger and André moved the operation toward electric instruments, with Roger collaborating with Stéphane "Steve" Brammer on pickup and electronics design through a small company called RV (Radio Video), whose Tonemaster pickups were fitted to many Jacobacci models.

The workshop is best known for its solid-body electric guitars and basses from the 1960s and 1970s. Early models such as the Royal, Solist, Super Star, and Super De Luxe were followed by the Texas in 1959 — a chambered design drawing on the Gibson Les Paul — and the Ohio in 1960, a solid-body that became closely associated with the French rock and yé-yé scene of the era. Later catalog staples included the Studio II, the LJ 6/12 double-neck, the R2 Super, the JB200 bass, and the JD80 and JJ series guitars. The Jacobacci name appeared on headstocks from around 1966 onward.

Over roughly four decades of electric production, the workshop built an estimated 10,000 electric guitars and basses before closing in 1994. Jacobacci instruments are considered a cornerstone of mid-20th-century French lutherie and are collected today as vintage pieces, with examples circulating through European vintage dealers and the secondhand market.
