JangleBox is a Reston, Virginia-based effects pedal company founded in 2004 by Steve Lasko. The brand is built almost entirely around compression, with circuits voiced to capture the chime, sustain and treble-forward sparkle associated with 1960s jangle — the sound of bands like The Byrds and The Beatles — as well as later Americana and roots-leaning guitar work.

The original JangleBox compressor put the company on the map after picking up an Editor's Pick award from Guitar Player magazine, and the lineup has expanded around that core idea.
