K.M.D (Kaman Musical Devices) was a line of guitar amplifiers and effects pedals produced in the 1980s by Kaman Music Corporation, the American company best known for Ovation guitars. The amplifier line was designed by John Cooper and built as rebranded Proamp Essex models, manufactured in England for the U.S. market. The range spanned small solid-state combos up to larger tube heads and cabinets, with models such as the GV100 valve-power / solid-state-preamp series paired with 4x12 cabinets.

In addition to amps, K.M.D released a series of effects pedals — including distortion, overdrive, flanger, and stereo chorus units — that were manufactured in Japan. The pedals have become a minor cult curiosity among collectors: their heavy enclosures and internal construction (including bucket-brigade chips like the MN3207 in the Stereo Chorus) have fueled long-running speculation on forums about which Japanese factory actually built them, with comparisons often drawn to Boss-era OEM work.

Endorsers during the brand's active period included Al Di Meola and Richie Sambora. K.M.D gear is no longer in production and primarily circulates on the vintage and used market.

K.M.D has 1 product cataloged on Equipboard, including Flanger Effects Pedals.
