Kawlabo was a Japanese manufacturer of electronic musical instruments active in the 1970s, producing rare and unusual keyboards in very limited quantities. The company is associated with Kawatchi Kenkyusho Co Ltd and operated as a boutique maker whose instruments are now difficult to find even in Japan.

Their best-known product is the Spiron EM-5100, a portable analog electronic instrument modeled on the traditional accordion. The Spiron featured preset voices such as flute, wood, reed, and string, built-in effects, and a distinctive tilt-sensor volume expression system housed in an unusual rounded body design. The instrument gained lasting notoriety after John Lennon acquired one during a stay in Japan in the 1970s; his unit is held in the Hard Rock Cafe collection.
