Kenny Hill is an American luthier based in Ben Lomond, California, near Santa Cruz, who has been building classical and flamenco guitars since the mid-1970s. Hill first began making guitars in Santa Barbara before relocating to the Santa Cruz area, and in 1978 he received one of the first California Arts Council grants awarded to an individual artist for his work as a guitar builder and performer. He also served as guitar instructor at the University of California, Santa Cruz. After a brief hiatus from lutherie in the 1980s — during which he ran an automotive garage — the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake prompted his return to full-time guitar making.

Hill Guitar Company produces custom concert-level classical guitars known for innovative construction techniques, including double soundboard tops, elevated fingerboards, and upper-bout sound ports. Notable models include the Signature, Torres, Golden Era, New Century, and Companion. Hill's design philosophy emphasizes instruments that are responsive and malleable rather than dictating a particular tonal character. He has studied and drawn from the work of historic luthiers such as Torres, Hauser, Fleta, and Rodriguez, while developing his own distinctive voice.

In addition to his custom shop instruments, Hill designed the New World Guitars line — a range of high-quality, moderately priced classical guitars built to his specifications in a workshop he established in China in 2006, where he personally trained the craftsmen. Classical guitarists Johannes Möller and Eva Beneke are among the professional performers who play Hill guitars. Hill is also recognized as a player and teacher, having studied in master classes with Leo Brouwer and José Tomás.
