Latch Lake Music is a Minnesota-based manufacturer specializing in heavy-duty microphone stands and studio accessories. The company operates out of Eagan, Minnesota as a sister operation to Brixon Manufacturing, a machine shop founded in 1939 by Tom Roberts. The mic stand line was developed by Jeff Roberts after he grew frustrated with boom clutches that slipped during piano recording sessions, and the micKing product family launched in 2005.

The brand is best known for its micKing stands, including the micKing 1100 (a portable boom stand aimed at vocals and overheads), the micKing 2200 (a heavier studio boom with a wider base), and the micKing 3300, a flagship studio boom positioned as a premium option under $1,000. Latch Lake also produces the micKing RetroBoom, the Xtra Boom accessory for hanging multiple mics from a single stand, the iOxmount tablet mount, and a range of clutches, mounts, and adapters.
