Laurus is an Italian luthier workshop based in Schio, in the Vicenza province of northern Italy, founded in 1982 by Pierluigi Cazzola. The shop builds entirely handmade electric bass guitars in the tradition of Italian stringed-instrument craft, with Cazzola serving as designer, maker, and supervisor of every instrument that leaves the bench.

The lineup centers on the Quasar family of neck-through basses, including the Quasar T900 XRH, the Quasar Extraharmonic, and the Quasar Zen, offered in 4-, 5-, and 6-string configurations with figured tonewood tops. Laurus also produces a Federico Malaman signature model developed with the Italian session and solo bassist.
