Legend Guitars (also known as Legend Custom Guitars) is a small, hand-built electric guitar and bass shop based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. Luthier and owner Zane O'Brien, a career woodworker since 1970, began building electric guitars under the Legend name in 1988. The shop operates as a three-person workshop rather than a mass-production facility, turning out custom instruments built to order with an emphasis on figured tonewoods, tight tolerances, and high-end hardware and pickups.

The catalog leans heavily on classic-style builds, including Telecaster-style models (such as the Legend Jazzcaster, Amber Quilted Maple Telecaster, Bubinga Custom Tele Deluxe, and Curly Maple Tele) alongside faithful reproductions of vintage Gibson designs like the 1958 Explorer in Korina, Les Paul Junior, Les Paul Special, and a 1960s-style SG. A signature construction detail is the rear-routed pickup cavity, which Legend uses to reduce body weight and preserve a clean top face. Early instruments carried Fender-style headstocks, but in 1996 the shop adopted a distinctive "sickle"-style headstock that has since become a visual hallmark of the brand.

Alongside new builds, Legend offers repairs, setups, and restoration work out of the Dartmouth shop. The brand has a regional following in Atlantic Canada's professional music scene, with players including George Hebert of the Anne Murray Band and Al McCumber of the Lenny Gallant Band among its known endorsees.
