LowEnd is a custom bass guitar brand based in Nashville, Tennessee, built by luthier Brian Barrett, who also operates The LowEnd Bass Shop — a boutique retailer specializing in high-end bass guitars, gear, and instrument services. The brand emerged from Barrett's work in the bass community and has become known for J- and P-style instruments produced in small numbers, with the builder handling orders directly with players.

The core LowEnd lineup centers on the LEJ model, alongside the LowEnd Hybrid and The Crow. Instruments are built around a proprietary B-type neck design featuring titanium reinforcement inlays and a dual-action truss rod, paired with the in-house LowEnd Preamp — an 18-volt circuit with a switchable 2-band/3-band EQ — and proprietary LowEnd Pickups available exclusively on the brand's basses. The shop has also produced collaborative WLE basses with luthier Pat Wilkins under the Wilkins LowEnd name.

LowEnd basses are offered in a range of string configurations, from four through eight strings, with an emphasis on stable necks, low action, and electronics flexibility for both fingerstyle and slap players.
