Magpie Pedals is a small Swedish effects and experimental audio builder run by Simon, better known online as Simon the Magpie. The project began in the spring of 2021 with help from a friend called Horseman and grew into a full-time operation in the summer of 2022. Pedals, synthesizers and other unusual noise-making devices are designed and assembled by Simon together with a handful of close collaborators, rather than in a factory setting.

The catalog leans toward experimental, lo-fi and texture-focused circuits rather than conventional overdrives and boosts. Releases have included sequenced and modulated delay effects such as the Bubbles, alongside a rotating lineup of limited-run pedals and noise devices. Sales are handled directly through the brand's own web shop, with shipping worldwide.

Simon the Magpie also maintains a YouTube channel where many of the designs are previewed or demonstrated, and the pedals have developed a following within the DIY, circuit-bending and experimental electronic music communities. The operation is deliberately kept small-scale and hand-built.
