Manne is an Italian luthier shop founded in 1987 by Andrea Ballarin in Schio, in the province of Vicenza. The workshop builds electric guitars and basses by hand, with bodies and necks shaped in-house and most hardware components engineered in-house as well. Italian tonewoods feature heavily in the catalog, and Ballarin has built a reputation around unconventional commissions — including instruments crafted from reclaimed Lagavulin Scotch whisky barrels and from wooden poles salvaged from the Venetian lagoon.

The lineup includes electric guitar models such as the Taos, Ventura, Mojave, and ElectraVibe, alongside bass models like the Sedona, Fillmore, Woody, and VibraBass. Manne also produces semi-acoustic and acoustic-bass instruments (the Acustivibe and Acoustibass), multi-scale six-string basses, and offers a high level of customization through custom-shop orders.

Beyond instrument building, the shop runs luthier courses and sells individual guitar and bass components. Ballarin's output spans more than 2,700 instruments shipped worldwide, positioning Manne among the better-known boutique builders in the Italian lutherie scene.
