Marshall Electronics is a privately held American company headquartered in Torrance, California, founded in 1980 by Leonard Marshall. The company operates as the parent of four divisions covering professional audio and video: Marshall Broadcast & AV, Marshall Optical Systems, MXL Microphones, and Mogami Cable & Connectors (the U.S. assembly and distribution arm for the Japanese cable maker Mogami).

In music and recording contexts, Marshall Electronics is best known through MXL Microphones, launched in 1998 with the MXL 2001 large-diaphragm condenser and followed by models such as the MXL 2003, 770, 990, and V67G that brought studio-style condensers to budget price points. The MXL line has since expanded to ribbon mics, shotguns, stereo pairs, and USB microphones aimed at home studio, podcasting, and broadcast use.

The Mogami side supplies cable, connectors, and finished assemblies widely used in professional recording and live sound, including Mogami's Gold, Silver, and Platinum series instrument, microphone, and patch cables. Marshall's Broadcast & AV division produces miniature POV cameras, compact 4K/UHD cameras, PTZ cameras, and rack-mount production monitors used in broadcast television, sports, and house-of-worship installations.
