Mesanovic is a Detroit-area pro audio manufacturer founded by Deni Mesanovic, who began building ribbon microphones while studying sound engineering at the University of Michigan. The company hand-assembles its products in Clinton Township, Michigan, machining components in-house on CNC equipment rather than sourcing from third parties.

The brand built its reputation on the Model 2 ribbon microphone, later expanded into a family that includes the active Model 2A and the stereo Model 2S. Its catalog has since grown beyond ribbons to include the SC1 small-diaphragm condenser, the CDM65 controlled-directivity studio monitor, the M97 transformer-coupled microphone preamplifier, and the MQ712 inductor-based graphic equalizer.
