Nashvillerocker is the professional brand of Chris DiMella, a Nashville-based guitarist, session player, music educator, and pro audio consultant. Originally from Miami, Florida, DiMella studied jazz with University of Miami players including John Defaria and Randall Dollahon before building a career around session and live work, guitar instruction, and effects rack design. The Nashvillerocker name is a registered trademark, and the operation centers on guitar lessons, recording and overdub services, and consulting on rack-mounted effects systems, MIDI switching, and pedalboard installations using gear from Eventide, TC Electronic, Lexicon, Roland, and Bob Bradshaw / CAE.

On the product side, Nashvillerocker is associated with the NVR Mach 1, a signature overdrive pedal built by Rothrock Audio. The pedal is designed as a lower-gain, harmonically rich overdrive intended to push a clean or already-driven amp channel rather than function as a high-gain distortion. DiMella has also released his own music, including the 2013 instrumental record Diesel Boy Blues, which moves between melodic rock, blues, and classical-influenced playing.
