NFUZD Audio is an electronic drum brand launched by KHS America (the U.S. arm of Taiwan's KHS Musical Instrument Company) and unveiled at Winter NAMM 2015. Developed over roughly four years by a team of industrial designers, software developers and engineers based across Taiwan, the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany, the brand was created to deliver a more open and acoustically natural take on electronic drumming. Drummer Russ Miller and e-drum developer/sound engineer John Emrich joined the project in 2014 to help shape the product's voicing and feel.

The brand's debut line, the NSPIRE Series, centers on real-sized, soft-playing trigger pads that fit over the top of an existing acoustic drum kit without removing heads or hoops, letting players convert their acoustic setup into a hybrid or fully electronic rig. The system is built around the NSPIRE sound module and pairs with a customized version of FXpansion's BFD drum sampling software, developed through a partnership between KHS and FXpansion to provide uncompressed, full-bandwidth sample libraries both onboard and externally. Product configurations have included the NSPIRE Rock and NSPIRE Gig full packs, individual tom trigger pads and the standalone NSPIRE module.

NFUZD Audio's positioning sits in the hybrid-acoustic and electronic drum niche, emphasizing open architecture, VST integration and the ability to retain the spacing and ergonomics of an acoustic kit while playing electronically.
