Olympia was a budget acoustic guitar line launched by Tacoma Guitars in the late 1990s as an affordable counterpart to Tacoma's U.S.-built instruments. While Tacoma guitars were produced at the company's Washington State factory, Olympia models were manufactured in Indonesia and China, then engineered and set up in the United States. The lineup mirrored Tacoma's body styles at lower price points, with dreadnoughts such as the OD-3, OD-5, and OD-10S; cutaway acoustic-electrics like the OD-10SCE; the OP-2 parlor; classical models including the OC10 SCE; bass guitars; and mandolins.

The range typically featured solid spruce tops with mahogany back and sides, rosewood fretboards, and chrome tuners — a spec sheet aimed at students and entry-level players who wanted Tacoma-influenced design without the U.S.-build price. When Fender Musical Instruments acquired Tacoma in 2004, the Olympia brand came along with it, but the line was short-lived under Fender and faded from the catalog within a couple of years. The Tacoma factory itself closed in 2008, ending production of both brands. Olympia instruments now circulate primarily on the used market through shops like Reverb and eBay.
