pArtScience is a line of acoustical treatments developed by Auralex Acoustics in collaboration with studio designer Russ Berger of the Russ Berger Design Group. Launched at Winter NAMM 2006, the line was created to bring high-end studio acoustics within reach for recording studios, performance venues, listening rooms, auditoriums, home theaters, and worship spaces, pairing engineered acoustic performance with a more architectural aesthetic than traditional foam treatment.
The product family includes premium modular surface treatments for absorption, low-frequency control, and diffusion. The SpaceArray is a hemispherical wood diffusor built from 24"×24" solid wood panels, and the SpaceCoupler is a related diffusion product covered in trade press reviews. The AudioTile system, including the ShockWave variant, uses patent-pending tessellated forms intended to allow custom wall designs while providing broadband absorption.
pArtScience products have been distributed through major music retailers such as Sweetwater, Musician's Friend, and Reverb, and have been deployed in large-scale installations including Lakewood Church.
PartScience has 2 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Acoustical Treatments.
