Patchblocks is a music technology company founded by Sebastian Heinz and based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The brand grew out of Heinz's research at Queen's University Belfast and launched publicly through a 2013 Kickstarter campaign that raised more than six times its goal. The core idea was to bring software-style modular patching into a small, tangible hardware format that could be played with friends rather than confined to a screen.

The flagship product, the Patchblock, is a pocket-sized programmable synth and signal-processing module.
