Plantronics is an American audio communications company founded in 1961 in Santa Cruz, California by Courtney Graham and Keith Larkin. The company built its reputation on lightweight headsets for aviation and telecommunications — its MS50 headset was the first product purchased by United Airlines, and Plantronics headsets were used by NASA during the Apollo missions, including the Apollo 11 moon landing transmission and the Apollo 13 "Houston, we have a problem" call.

Alongside its core enterprise and call-center business, Plantronics expanded into consumer audio with the BackBeat line of Bluetooth headphones and earbuds (including the BackBeat PRO over-ear noise-cancelling model and BackBeat FIT sport earbuds), the Voyager line of mono Bluetooth headsets, and gaming headsets sold under the GameCom and RIG labels. The company also produced a co-branded headset with Microsoft for the Xbox Communicator and a tie-in headset for Halo 2.

Plantronics rebranded as Poly in 2019 following its acquisition of Polycom, and the Plantronics name is largely retired in favor of the Poly identity. The brand's footprint in music gear contexts is limited to its consumer headphone lines rather than studio or instrument-related equipment.

Plantronics has 3 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Headphones & In-Ear Monitors.
