Polverini is an Italian accordion maker based in Castelfidardo, in the Marche region long associated with the country's accordion-building tradition. The company traces its lineage to the late 19th century, when Pasquale Ficosecco established a workshop building button accordions, and took its current name in 1947 when Gino Polverini reunited with his brothers Giuseppe, Elio, and Alberto to form Fratelli Polverini. The family business continues to operate as Polverini S.R.L., with manufacturing rooted in the Castelfidardo–Porto Recanati area.

The brand's catalog is organized around four accordion families: piano accordions, diatonic and chromatic button accordions, and convertor models. Instruments such as the Latino series and the C30 piano accordion have circulated widely in the U.S. and Latin American markets, where Polverini has a particularly strong following among players of Mexican and Tex-Mex styles. Its diatonic button accordions in keys like FBE and EAD are common picks for norteño and conjunto players.

Between 1959 and the mid-1960s, the Polverini workshop also produced guitars, building bodies, necks, and complete instruments for makers including Eko, Di Mauro, Zerosette, Caldironi, and Meazzi, and selling its own classical and parlor guitars under the Clarissa name for export to the United States and Europe. The guitar-making chapter eventually wound down, and the company refocused on the handcrafted reed instruments that remain its core output today.
