Prostage is a Spanish-based maker of MIDI foot controllers, audio loop switchers, and remote-controlled effects for guitar rigs, founded in 2002 by Lukas Truninger and headquartered in Cala Millor on Mallorca. Truninger, a Swiss audio engineer who worked as a guitar tech and tour manager for bands including Krokus and Accept, started the company after years of retrofitting MIDI controllers with XLR connectors so they would survive the rigors of touring.

The brand is built around its proprietary StageWire bus system, introduced in 2007, which lets connected devices on a rig communicate over standard microphone cables. Its product line includes the X05, X07, and X10 MIDI foot controllers, the XDS and XLS audio loop switchers (the XDS housing eight stompboxes in a 19" rack drawer with integrated power), and effects like the Remote WahWah, the WAHryTone (a Bluetooth-app-configurable wah successor), the XB1 Booster, and a Remote Volume pedal. A System Manager application for Mac and PC handles preset editing across the range.

Prostage occupies a niche corner of the rig-building market, favored by players who want fully remote-switchable analog pedalboards integrated with rack gear rather than relying on digital modeling. Wolf Hoffmann of Accept and Jared Hardman of Flyleaf have used Prostage systems on tour.

ProStage has 3 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Looper Effects Pedals, MIDI Foot Controllers, and Wah Pedals. Their gear is featured by 5 artists, with the strongest followings in Rock and Metal. Notable users include Wolf Hoffmann, Jgor Gianola, and Marc Rizzo.
