Proton Guitar Company is a California-based electric guitar builder founded by CEO Tony Kessman, a longtime figure in the custom guitar world whose résumé includes time at Schecter Guitars and DNA Guitar Company. The shop builds its own bodies and necks in-house from hand-selected tone woods, and uses construction details such as aircraft-grade brass threaded inserts at the neck joint. Every Proton instrument carries a lifetime warranty to the original owner.
