PWM is a British synthesizer company founded in 2018 by Paul Whittington, a music technology veteran whose prior work at Novation and Focusrite included the Bass Station II, Peak, MiniNova, Circuit, and the Launchkey/Launchpad controller lines. Operating from the UK with a small team of collaborators, the brand focuses on hands-on, playable instruments that emphasize sound design depth at accessible price points.

The company's debut product, the Malevolent, is a semi-modular analogue monosynth released in 2021 that drew attention for pairing a patchable signal path with a relatively low cost, earning a Future Music Platinum Award. Its follow-up, the Mantis, is a four-voice hybrid analogue polysynth developed in collaboration with the late Chris Huggett, a designer best known for his work on the OSCar, Wasp, and Novation Bass Station. PWM has also announced the M30, a multi-timbral digital wavetable synthesizer system.

The brand is distributed internationally through retailers including Sweetwater, Thomann, Andertons, and Kraft Music, and is sometimes referred to by the expanded form of its initials, Paul Whittington Music.
