Rapier is a British electric guitar and bass brand originally produced by Watkins Electric Music (WEM) from the late 1950s through the 1970s. The Watkins Rapier became an affordable staple of the British beat scene, offering UK players a homegrown alternative to American designs like the Stratocaster, and was often seen in the hands of aspiring 1960s and 70s British guitarists.

The Rapier name was revived by UK luthier and designer Alan Entwistle in partnership with distributor John Hornby Skewes & Co. (JHS), reintroducing the classic silhouette with updated construction. The modern range recreates the vintage aesthetic with okoume bodies, Canadian maple necks, Entwistle EWR64 single-coil pickups, Wilkinson machine heads, and a SmoothTrak tone circuit, offered in period-correct finishes such as Fiesta Red, Daphne Blue, and 3-tone Sunburst.

The current lineup centers on the double-cutaway Rapier 33 with its forward-slanted middle pickup, alongside the twin-pickup Rapier 22, the four-pickup Rapier 44, and the Saffire series guitars and basses, which blend several 1960s British design cues. Additional models in the range include the Escort, Taurus, Mercury, Deluxe, Rocket, and Symphonic Bass.

Rapier has 2 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Solid Body Electric Guitars.
