RC Davis Amplification is a boutique guitar amp builder based in San Francisco, founded by Robert Craig (RD) Davis. The company specializes in hand-wired, point-to-point, all-tube amplifiers built with materials sourced from the USA whenever possible. Davis has said the line grew out of three sources: mistakes in modern amp design he kept seeing cross his repair bench, requests from gigging friends for something simple and powerful, and a memorable night watching Bill Kirchen play every genre through a Tele and a straightforward amp rig.

Rather than building clones of classic circuits, RC Davis aims for a voice of its own while keeping construction serviceable by any competent tech. The product range includes the Rite Spot combo, the 30-watt Scirocco with a Celestion G12 Neo Creamback and a built-in tremolo circuit, the Revotron combo with an effects loop, the Sunset 65, The BEAST, and extension cabinets, alongside the original 50W and 100W heads and combos. The company collaborates with local makers such as Ken Moonitz for custom cabinets and West Coast Fabrication for chassis work.
