Rodebald Hoyer was a German luthier and guitar maker known for archtop acoustic and jazz guitars built in Bavaria from the late 1940s through the mid-1960s. Born in 1909 in Schönbach, Egerland, Hoyer was expelled from the region after World War II and established his workshop in Kochel am See in December 1948. The operation relocated within Kochel over the years, including after a 1957 fire destroyed one of his workshops.

The brand is associated with the golden age of German archtop building. Models such as the Jazz Star, produced roughly between 1955 and 1966, featured ornate appointments, figured woods, and detailed hardware typical of high-end European jazz guitars of the period. Smaller archtops like the Alva were also part of the catalog. The company is unrelated to the separately known Hoyer guitar brand.

Following Rodebald Hoyer's death in 1964, his wife Anna Hoyer continued the workshop until June 1966, after which production ended. Surviving instruments circulate on the vintage market and are considered collectible examples of postwar German guitar craftsmanship.
