Samplitude is a digital audio workstation for Windows, originally developed in 1992 for the Commodore Amiga by the German audio company SEK'D (formerly Hohner Midia). MAGIX acquired the product line in 1999 and developed it for decades alongside its broadcast-oriented sibling, Sequoia. The Samplitude family is now part of the Boris FX audio portfolio, with the consumer-friendly Samplitude Music Studio and the professional Samplitude Pro X (and Pro X Suite) tiers covering recording, editing, mixing, and mastering.
