Sandhill Audio Oy is a Finnish manufacturer of high-end ribbon microphones, founded in 2008 in Lohja, Finland by mechanical designer Riku Pasanen, electronics engineer Petteri Taponen, and product designer Sammy Roiha. The company spent roughly three years developing its first product before bringing it to market, with a stated goal of building a ribbon microphone free of the fragility and tonal limitations associated with traditional ribbon designs.

The company is best known for its 6011A and 6019A ribbon microphones, both built around its proprietary Nano Composite Ribbon Technology (NCRT). The NCRT ribbon is made from a super-elastic, paramagnetic composite material with high tensile strength and shape memory, which Sandhill positions as more durable than the aluminum ribbons used in conventional ribbon mics while preserving the classic ribbon sound. The microphones are aimed at professional studio recording applications and are sold through specialist pro-audio dealers such as Front End Audio and Funky Junk.
