Segovia is a South Korean guitar brand founded in 1954 by Kim Jin-young, who established his first workshop in the Seogang district of Mapo-gu, Seoul. The name was inspired by the classical guitarist Andrés Segovia, taken from a guitar method book that had been passed to the founder. Through the 1960s and 1970s the company grew alongside Korea's folk music boom, expanding into larger factories in Gyeonggi-do and becoming a major exporter — receiving Korea's One Million Dollar Export Tower in 1980 and the Ten Million Dollar Export Tower in 1983.

The brand is best known for affordable acoustic and classical guitars aimed at students and intermediate players. Its catalog spans nylon-string classicals, dreadnought and folk-style steel-string acoustics (such as the D07GN), junior-sized models, and bass guitars, organized into laminated, solid-top, all-solid, and exotic-wood series. Manufacturing has shifted over the decades from Korea to Indonesia, where much of the production now takes place.

Segovia's affiliated electric brand, Bester, is credited as Korea's first domestically produced electric guitar and bass guitar line. While the company is less visible internationally than other Korean builders such as Cort or Samick, Segovia instruments remain common as entry-level guitars in the Korean and Asian markets and are also sold through OEM partnerships.
