ShinyBox is a small ribbon microphone shop based in Covington, Washington, run by founder Jon Ulrigg, who hand-builds each mic using parts sourced from around the world. The brand grew out of Ulrigg's background as a musician, songwriter, and studio owner, and has built a reputation for offering large-geometry ribbon designs at prices well below most boutique competitors.

The lineup centers on the 46 series, including the 46MX and the third-generation 46U passive ribbon microphone, which uses a custom output transformer designed by Ulrigg and wound in the USA. Earlier models such as the original 46 and the smaller 23 have been discontinued. ShinyBox also offers ribbon microphone repair and re-ribboning service for its own mics and other ribbon brands, and produces a small range of related studio electronics.
