SIB Electronics is a boutique effects pedal company based in Poway, California, founded by designer Rick Hamel and co-owner Brian Aberg. The company has been building handmade, tube-driven guitar pedals since the early 1990s — well before the term "boutique effects" entered the guitar lexicon. Their pedals are built around real 12AX7 vacuum tubes and feature proprietary micro-circuits designed by Hamel, with each Custom Shop unit hand-stuffed, hand-soldered, and tested by Hamel and Aberg personally.

SIB Electronics is best known for the Echodrive, a tube-driven analog delay widely regarded as a holy-grail delay pedal for its warm, tape-echo-like character. The Varidrive, a pure Class A tube overdrive, and the Fat Drive round out their drive offerings. Their product line also includes the Mr. Echo and Mr. Echo Plus delays, the Cuda overdrive, the Mr. Fazedelic optical phase shifter, the Nick Nitro fuzz, the Treminator tremolo, and the Mr. Vibromatic vibrato pedal. Hamel is also one half of the design team behind the SMF 15 Watter amplifier, alongside tone legend Mark Sampson.
