Siren Pedals is a boutique guitar effects company based in Nashville, Tennessee, founded by Scott Schwertly. The brand launched in February 2020 with three handcrafted pedals: the Airavata distortion (featuring three clipping modes ranging from clean grit to fuzz-like saturation), the Anvil compressor, and the Midnight Train fuzz (an homage to the "Civil War" era Big Muff). All Siren pedals feature top-mounted jacks, true-bypass switching, and distinctive hand-illustrated artwork, with each design accompanied by a collectible trading card.
The lineup expanded to include the Eligos, a heavy metal distortion inspired by the Boss HM-2's "Swedish chainsaw" tone, the Juneau, an overdrive built around the Marshall BluesBreaker circuit, and the Etana, a Klon-influenced transparent overdrive co-designed with country guitarist Lindsay Ell as her signature pedal. The Etana offers three clipping options and was released with a limited run of 100 autographed units. Siren Pedals also produced the Sonic Renegades podcast, exploring guitar effects and gear culture.
