Solez is a Brazilian string manufacturer based in Araxá, Minas Gerais, with origins in Belo Horizonte where the company was founded in 2000. It began as an importer and exclusive Brazilian distributor of US-made Solez strings before transitioning to domestic production, building out a factory with German-sourced machinery after engineer Tarcísio Moura joined as a partner-director in 2003.

The company makes electric, acoustic, classical nylon, and bass guitar strings, alongside accessories such as tuners, capos, picks, and effects pedals. Its product range spans multiple in-house brands including Solez, Groove, Monterey, and Ferez. The flagship Solez line is built around the company's proprietary DLP (Dual Layer Protection) coating, developed to resist corrosion from hand sweat while preserving tone.

Solez has a notable presence in Brazilian sertanejo and popular music, with endorsements from artists including Zé Neto & Cristiano and Matheus & Kauan. Bass offerings such as the SLB440/SLB445 four-string and SLB540/SLB545 five-string nickel-wound sets, along with high-tension nylon classical strings, are sold domestically in Brazil and exported through international retailers.
