Syos (Shape Your Own Sound) is a Paris-based maker of 3D-printed mouthpieces for saxophone and clarinet, along with reeds, ligatures, cushions, and caps. The company was founded by Pauline Eveno and Maxime Carron, both acoustics PhDs trained at IRCAM, and produces its mouthpieces from a proprietary 3D-printing material called SCAL3D, developed with French research laboratories to deliver acoustic properties suitable for professional play.

The lineup is organized around three tracks. The Originals collection offers ready-to-play models in three voicings — Smoky (dark), Steady (balanced), and Spark (bright) — for alto, tenor, soprano, and baritone saxophone. The Signature series is co-designed with individual players, and the Custom configurator lets musicians specify tip opening, chamber, baffle, color, and engraving for a bespoke piece.

Syos has built Signature mouthpieces with saxophonists including Joe Lovano, Jeff Coffin, Tivon Pennicott, Dayna Stephens, Godwin Louis, Knoel Scott, and Lihi Haruvi, among others.
