Tone Tubby is an American manufacturer of hemp cone guitar and bass speakers, operating out of California as an offshoot of the speaker reconing shop A Brown Soun. The company was founded by John Harrison, who opened A Brown Soun in 1973 and launched the Tone Tubby speaker line in 2001 after decades of reconing experience. Harrison's hemp cone design — marketed under the Hempcone name — was inspired by the durability of hemp paper and aimed to produce a smoother, warmer response than traditional paper cones while offering greater resistance to heat and wear.

The product range is built entirely around hemp cones and spans 8-, 10-, 12-, and 15-inch drivers in both alnico and ceramic magnet variants, with models including the Alnico Red, Nashville, Humboldt, San Rafael, Chicago Blue, 40/40, Winterland, and Super Boy bass speaker.
