Tubesteader is a Montreal-based builder of high-voltage vacuum tube guitar pedals, founded by Olly Balan. The workshop hand-builds compact preamp and overdrive pedals that run real tubes at proper plate voltage, aiming to replicate the feel and natural compression of classic tube amplifiers in a pedalboard-friendly format.

The lineup is built around circuits inspired by iconic amps: the Lightkeeper and Beekeeper are voiced after D-style clean tones, the Sunkeeper draws from British-style amps, the Eggnog is a tweed-voiced overdrive, the Magnezium is a dual-channel Texas-style preamp, ROY takes cues from Top-Boost circuits, and the Gainlord is a hard rock-oriented dual-channel preamp/overdrive. Tubesteader also offers the FS-2L mini footswitch as an accessory.

The pedals are assembled one at a time in Canada and carry a five-year warranty. Tubesteader products are distributed through retailers including Andertons, Thomann, Musician's Friend, Moog Audio, and Electric Mojo Guitars.
